A portraitsession with Philippe Koch
A portrait of Matija, a graduate at University of Utrecht taken during the talk-through of the protocol of the ceremony.
Een infrarood foto van cypressen in het Toscaanse landschap.
An infrared photograph of a palm tree alley leading through a banana plantation on the island of Gomera
During my trip last year to Manchester I took a series of infrared photographs with a camera I had converted to 720nm.
Finally I have found the time to select and edit some of my favorites.
My favorite photograph of yesterday. At the graduation of Dieuwke.
Probably my favorite photograph I took yesterday at a reception in the Pandhof, University of Utrecht.
One of my favorite shots of last week’s graduations at Utrecht University.
A portrait of Maayan Licht, male soprano singer.
A portrait of Paolo.
A portrait I made of Gio Diekema.
When the bridal couple gives me a free hand to take photographs of them in a chapel, this is one of the images I come up with.
One of my favorite shots I took at a recent wedding; the bride, who is an excellent singer, has a small moment to herself to rehearse a song she will sing for the guests at the wedding.
Photography at graduation ceremonies gives many opportunities for good portraits. This shot is one of my favorites of this past week.
A scene on the east coast of Italy. Photograph taken in the infra-red spectrum.
Another photograph shot in the city of Pienza, Italy, in the infra-red spectrum. The play of light on the walls here is amazing.
Weddings are fun events to be a photographer. Especially if the couple wants a series of cool photographs that reflect their love for and commitment to one another.
This is one of the shots I took recently at a wedding at the Dutch seaside.
A groupphoto I took for HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht/School of Arts, Utrecht). These are students at the end of their final year of education at the University. They came with the outfits and the smoke-machine. I added the lights and did the ‘staging’.
Another Long Exposure of a jetty on the shores of Denmark. This is the same jetty of my previous post “Crabfishing”, slightly after father and daughter photobommed me…
I put the exposure on 30 seconds to completely smooth out the water.

Another Long Exposure on the shores of Denmark. Father and daughter dropped a line to do some fishing; I presume crabfishing. Actually I was all set up to take a long exposure of the jetty when the two showed up and moved in to my frame. For some that would be a pain, for me they formed an extra bonus to the image.
I put the exposure on 30 seconds to completely smooth out the water.
