Walders Lane,
Memories of the UK. Can you put me through? This is from a small series of photographs of the disappearing phone-booths in the United Kingdom I took last August while travelling around the Peak District area.

One of my favorite shots of last week’s graduations at Utrecht University.
A portrait of Maayan Licht, male soprano singer.
I photographed a wedding in Peckforton Castle, UK earlier this month. What’s not to like? Brilliant setting, beautiful people and a lovely touch of British heritage. (This is a low resolution version of the original.)
A portrait of Paolo.
One of my favorite shots taken in the city of Beaune, central France, in the Bourgogne region. I took this photograph with my infrared-customized camera and converted it to black-and-white.
A scene from a theatre-play I took stills for. One of 13 plays during a four-days “directors’ festival” in Utrecht organized by the HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht).
A portrait I made of Gio Diekema.
When the bridal couple gives me a free hand to take photographs of them in a chapel, this is one of the images I come up with.
One of my favorite shots I took at a recent wedding; the bride, who is an excellent singer, has a small moment to herself to rehearse a song she will sing for the guests at the wedding.
Photography at graduation ceremonies gives many opportunities for good portraits. This shot is one of my favorites of this past week.
Urbino, Italy. A photograph taken in the infra-red spectrum and converted to black and white.
A scene on the east coast of Italy. Photograph taken in the infra-red spectrum.
Another favorite shot of a play of light in the streets of (modern) Matera, Italy. This was photographed in the infrared spectrum and converted to black & white.
Another photograph shot in the city of Pienza, Italy, in the infra-red spectrum. The play of light on the walls here is amazing.
A photograph I took in the main square of Pienza, Italy, this summer. The light on the building on the right is the light of the setting sun reflected from the church you see before you. Yes, it took a while before I could take a ‘clean’ photograph without any people……
Weddings are fun events to be a photographer. Especially if the couple wants a series of cool photographs that reflect their love for and commitment to one another.
This is one of the shots I took recently at a wedding at the Dutch seaside.
A groupphoto I took for HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht/School of Arts, Utrecht). These are students at the end of their final year of education at the University. They came with the outfits and the smoke-machine. I added the lights and did the ‘staging’.
Imagine a bridge on which you can walk and walk and walk. Without ever reaching the end….
A long exposure of The Infinite Bridge near Aarhus, Denmark. I took a 30 seconds exposure to smooth out the water.
This image is available in print: see the “Fine Art” page on my page.
Another Long Exposure of a jetty on the shores of Denmark. This is the same jetty of my previous post “Crabfishing”, slightly after father and daughter photobommed me…
I put the exposure on 30 seconds to completely smooth out the water.
