A groupphoto I took for HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht/School of Arts, Utrecht). These are students at the end of their final year of education at the University. They came with the outfits and the smoke-machine. I added the lights and did the ‘staging’.

Chapter VI
After an absence of 3,5 years I am reviving the blog on my website to present my recent work.
I made this image together with Imre van den Bosch in the attic of an old empty house in my hometown of Utrecht which was up for sale at the time. It was a great opportunity to explore the character and vibe of the rooms and fit in our ideas
Imre van den Bosch is theatremaker, so finding interesting poses that tell a story in the deserted rooms of the house was a breeze.
Assisting me during the photoshoot was Joost Voets.
A few weeks ago I got creative together with students of the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) / University of the Arts Utrecht. The HKU needed new images for a publication which was relesed yesterday. This is one of the results.
The alternative image I made together with dancers Martina Orlandi and Paolo Yao Kouadio for the cover of the Theater De Kom programme for the season 2017-2018. Yesterday I posted the image that was chosen for the cover.
I very much like this one, though, because of the crazy perspective lines.
I had the opportunity to do photography for the new cover of the programme for the season 2017-2018 of Theater De Kom. Theater De Kom is celebrating its' 5th birthday in the new building, reason to throw confetti and have two great dancers (Martina Orlandi, who now works at Korzo Theater and Paolo Yao Kouadio, who now works for Holland Opera and Danstheater AYA) do a high-five in the air.
This shot was taken on the main stage of the theatre. In the background you can see the theatre seating area.

I had the pleasure and the privilege to have a photoshoot with Martina Orlandi, dancer. Together with dancer Paulo Yao Kouadio (see previous post) we were working on material for the cover of a new theatre publication. After the photoshoot we did some 'freestyling' in the theatre where we were working. This is one of the results.
A photograph I took during a general rehearsal at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (Academy of Arts) in Utrecht.
After a fantastic summer-break I am back to doing some cool photoshoots and posting some results on my website.
Here is an awesome result of a photoshoot I did with Mike van Amelsfoort yesterday. Mike had wanted a photoshoot with bodypaint-tattoos for a long time. The body paint is done by the wonderful Syl Verberk of sylliefaces.nl. Check out her work on her website.
An image from my photoshoot with model Johan I am very happy with. Take a model, add some make up, some acrylic paint, some feathers and a stick. Get the lighting right. And shoot.
